River Crossing

River Crossing is a 3D logic puzzle built on the classic riddle: get everyone to the far bank on one small raft without anyone breaking the rules. It runs in your browser on a phone or a PC with nothing to download, and on a phone you hold it sideways.

Tap someone to put them on the raft, tap again to let them hop off, then press Go. Only some characters can paddle and the raft has limited room, so choosing who comes back is half the puzzle. Made a wrong move? Undo it. Stuck? The Hint button shows who should go next, and your first hint on each level is free.

There are 20 levels, each with its own cast and a new twist. Start with the fox, the chicken and the corn, then stop monsters from outnumbering the heroes, fit heavy elephants on the raft, keep penguin families together and beat a leaky raft that falls apart after a set number of crossings. Later levels bring aliens, jungle animals and polar bears, and the last one is a robot showdown. Each level earns up to three stars, and your stars and unlocked levels are saved on your device.

Tips: before pressing Go, check who is left behind on each bank. Taking someone back across often looks wrong but is usually the way forward.
