Sudoku Sunrise

Sudoku Sunrise is classic 9 by 9 sudoku on a clean, colourful 3D board. It works in your browser on a phone or a PC, with no download.

Fill every row, column and 3 by 3 box with the numbers 1 to 9. Tap a square, then tap a number on the pad. The number keys show how many of each digit are still to place. On a keyboard, press 1 to 9 to place a number, the arrow keys to move, Backspace to erase, N for pencil notes and H for a hint.

Pick Easy, Medium or Hard before you start. Easy leaves about 40 clues, Medium about 33 and Hard about 28. Puzzles can be solved by logic alone. A wrong number costs one of your three hearts, and if you run out the puzzle is lost. You get two free hints per puzzle, pencil notes for tricky squares, and your last chosen difficulty is remembered. Finish with all hearts and no hints for a flawless bonus.

Tips: scan for a row, column or box that is nearly full, use notes when a square has two or three options, and check the digit counters to find the number with the fewest spots left.
