Echo Lights

Echo Lights is a memory game of lights and sound. Watch a pattern of glowing pads flash, then tap the same pads in the same order. Each round adds one more step, so the pattern keeps growing. It plays in your browser on a phone or a PC, with no download.

Tap or click the pads to repeat the pattern. Each pad has its own colour, shape and musical note, so you can remember by sight and by ear. The game starts with 4 pads, grows to 6 pads from round 7, and reaches 9 pads from round 17. From round 9 some rounds are twists: a fast round plays the pattern at a quicker pace, and a reverse round asks you to enter the pattern backwards. Later rounds can combine both.

One wrong tap, or taking too long on a step, ends the run. Once per run you can choose to replay the same pattern and try the round again. There is no end to the game, so your goal is to reach a higher round than last time.

Tips: say the pattern in your head, or hum the notes as they play. In reverse rounds, picture the order from the last light back to the first, and stay calm when a fast round starts.
