Rangoli Painter

Rangoli Painter is a colourful puzzle game based on the patterns of rangoli. You pour coloured powder in the centre and spread it outwards until the whole pattern is filled. It runs in your browser on a phone or a PC, with nothing to download.

Each move, pick a colour. The centre region takes on that colour and swallows every touching petal of the same colour, so it grows with each move. Fill the whole rangoli within the move limit, and it blooms into its finished design. You earn up to three stars on each level by finishing in the par number of moves or fewer.

There are 35 levels, and the patterns get bigger with more colours as you go. A Daily rangoli gives you a fresh puzzle each day. Undo and hints are there when you are stuck.

There is also a Free Paint mode where you colour a rangoli however you like with a symmetry brush, then save your designs to a gallery of up to six. Your level progress, stars, daily result and gallery are saved on your device.

Tips: look for the colour that joins the most petals to the centre, and think about the order of your colours, because planning a few moves ahead saves moves.
