Coil Rush

Coil Rush is a modern take on the classic snake game. Steer your glowing coil around the board, eat fruit to grow longer and try not to run into anything. It plays in your browser on a phone or a PC, with no download. The board reshapes itself to fit your screen, so it works upright or sideways.

Swipe on a touch screen to change direction, or use the arrow keys on a keyboard. Every piece of fruit adds to your length and your score, and the coil gets a little faster as you eat. A run ends if the coil leaves the board or bites itself.

After every few fruit, a golden gem appears for a short time. Grab it before it vanishes for bonus points, and it also earns extra coins. There are no levels or modes: it is one endless run where you try to beat your own record.

Tips: plan a few turns ahead and keep clear space around your head. Use the edges of the board carefully, because a long coil can trap itself in a corner. Go for the gold gems when the route is safe, and don't be tempted by a risky dash.
